TREKING COLCA CANYON
Duration: 3 days and 2 nights
1 DAY.
- 6.00 AM Exit of Arequipa to Cabanaconde in local bus (time 5.30
hours)
- 11.30a.m arrival to Cabanaconde
- LUNCH. in Cabanaconde restaurant.
- 1 p.m. Beginning of long walk from Cabanaconde to San Juan de
Chujcho (time 3,30 to 4 hours) .todo is of slope. - 7p.m has supper
and spends the night in cabins in San Juan of Chujcho.
2 DAY.
- 8 a.m. breakfast.
- 9 a.m. of long walk raised and slope towards Sangalle (oasis)
(time 3 hours).
- Opcional.subida to the town of Tapay 2 hours more.
- 1 p.m. Lunch in Sangalle.
- 2p.m. Behind schedule it frees, it is possible to be made fishing
in the river Colca stroll by the oasis and/or to be enjoyed the
swimming pool.
- 6 p.m. also has supper and spends the night in cabins.
3 DAY.
- 3 a.m. Beginning of long walk all ascent of Sangalle to
cabanaconde (time 3 to 4 hours).
- 7 a.m. Breakfast in Cabanaconde.
- 7,30 a.m. Exit in local bus towards the Cross of the Condor (time
30 minutes)
- 8 a.m. Visit to the Cross of the Condor (To observe flight of
cóndores) - 9,30 a.m. Exit towards Chivay in local bus.
- 11,30 a.m.Arrival to Chivay and lunch in tourist restaurant.
- OPTIONAL.visit to the thermal baths of the Limekiln (1 hour).
- 2 p.m. exit of chivay to Arequipa. in local bus (3 hours)
- 5 p.m. Arrival to Arequipa. End of services.
