PROGRAMME:
First Day:
Early departure to the city of Chiclayo, reception and transfer to
the selected hotel.
Departure to TUCUME to visit its archaeological Complex, famous
because of its pyramids and terraces that surround in radial form
the Magic Mountain, which is traditionally called as Purgatorio or
La Raya.
You have a panoramic vista from 24 to 26 pyramids which cover an
extension of 49 km. Among the other pyramids which cover make up
this huge complex are: Huaca El Mirador, Huaca Las Estacas, Huaca
Pintada and Huaca de las Balsas which is thought to have housed
people of elevated status such us priests. You can also see the high
level in fishing, trade and agricole activities.
After that, transfer to Lambayeque to visit the new and modern
MUSEUM OF THE SIPAN ROYAL TOMBS, which has 10 exhibition rooms,
where you can admire the treasures of lord of Sipan and a great
collection of objects in gold, silver and cooper as well.
Them we admire the church of San Pedro, the
longest balcony in Peru (La Casa de La Logia), we visit the Main
Square, and the confectioners of the city.
Second Day :
Continental breakfast. In the morning, transfer to the
archaeological site of HUACA RAJADA 33 km east from Chiclayo and 2
kms of the village of Sipan, where we find the intact tomb of an
elit character, that is why he has been called THE LORD OF SIPAN
(Moche 200 to 700 A.C.), the majesty of his ornaments and the high
level of his technological development in the goldsmith work make
him consider as the most important archaeological discovery in the
century. We visit the site Museum.
One overnight stay at the selected hotel.
Third Day :
Continental breakfast.
We go along THE BEACH CIRCUIT. We visit Pimentel, a chic beach
resort, the principal of the department which still has the
architecture of the beginning of the century and contemporary
buildings with a wide jetty and with an antique wharf as well. Then
a visit to a more traditional and authentic fishing village is
nearby Santa Rosa, where fishermen use two groups of boats
caballitos and bolicheros.
We pay a visit to the village of Monsefu, famous for its straw
knittings and cotton thread, where you can see a good number of
craftmen and their market as well.
Fourth Day :
Continental breakfast. The day is yours to enjoy the beauty of
the city.
At convenient time transfer to the airport.

THE SIPAN ROYAL TOMBS, where jewels of the Lord of Sipan HUACA

site. A visit to the archaeological site of HUACA RAJADA, a journey
along THE BEACH CIRCUIT. A visit to the town of MONSEFU.
