Itinerary

DAY 1: CUSCO – TAMBOMACHAY – PUCAMARCA
Departure from Cusco at 06:00 a.m. toward the sector of Tambomachay where we will start the long walk, ascending up to one of the passes called Chitapampa, from the top we will be able to enjoy of the beautiful landscape and the geological fault of Cebolla Huayco, going on our hike will reach the second pass 4250 masl, later we will descend to the lagoon of Quellacocha, at this place we will have lunch and then we will continue walking toward the third pass (4260 masl), finally we will descend trough the valley observing the lagoon of Qoricocha (4070 masl) and Piuray (3690 masl), our camp site is at the sector of Umaspampa which is located near of the Pucamarca community spending the night talking with the locals farmers and shepherd.

DAY 2: PUCAMARCA – HUCHUYQOSQO – CALCA – CUSCO
After the nutritious breakfast, we will continue with our walking trough the Inca old footpaths, during the descending we might see some condors or foxes, we will arrive to the sector of Huchuy Qosqo around 11:00 a.m. before and after lunch we will visit the whole complex and the guide is going to explain us about this important arqueological site, around 4:00 p.m. will descend to the valley of the Willcamayu river (Calca Town) to catch the bus to return to the Cusco town.
